Privacy Policy

Homewerks Worldwide, LLC, together with its affiliates, subsidiaries, divisions and brands (“us”, “we”, or “our”) operates www.Homewerks.com and www.HomeNetWerks.com (the “Sites”). This privacy policy (this “Privacy Policy”) informs you of our policies and practices regarding the collection, use and disclosure of Personal Information (defined below) we receive from users of the Sites or from customers receiving any services offered by us (“Services”). This Privacy Policy also explains your choices for managing your information preferences, including opting out of certain uses of your Personal Information. This Privacy Policy applies to all users of the Sites and Services.

The Privacy Policy does not apply to information collected by any third party, including through any third-party application or content (including advertising) that may link to or be accessible from or on the Site. Any information collected by a third party will be governed by that third party's privacy policy and not this Privacy Policy.

A. Information Collection and Use
  1. Personal Information. While using our Sites or Services, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you, including but not limited to your name, email address, physical address, IP address, phone number and other information (“Personal Information”). In addition, your Personal Information may be shared with us by our third-party retailers in order to provide Services to you (e.g., delivery of our products that you order through such third-party retailers).

  2. Log Data. Like many site operators, we collect information that your browser sends whenever you visit our Sites (“Log Data”). This Log Data may include information such as your computer's Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, browser type, browser version, the pages of our Sites that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages and other statistics. We use this Log Data to improve our Sites and Services.

    In addition, we may use third-party services such as Google Analytics that collect, monitor and analyze Log Data and similar information in order to monitor and improve the functionality of the Site. However, if you do not accept cookies or if you choose to delete the cookies that we previously sent to you, you may not be able to use certain portions of our Sites or the functionality of certain portions of our Sites may be reduced or unavailable.   4. Submissions to the Site; Emails. We may communicate information regarding our Site, products or Services to you via email, text messages and phone calls from time to time. By providing your name and contact information and clicking the submission button, including a customer support inquiry, via the Site, you consent and agree to receive communications from us or made on our behalf, including emails and calls using an automated telephone dialing system or an artificial or prerecorded voice. Your consent and agreement to the foregoing is not a condition of purchasing any property, goods, or services from us, and you may call us instead of submitting your information online. Your consent herein also applies to any future registration on national or state Do-No-Call lists. For mobile phones, standard text message and data charges apply. If you have consented to receive calls, text messages or emails from us, you can opt out of receiving future communications at any time by saying or replying “STOP” or “UNSUBSCRIBE” to our call/text message or by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of our email. B. How We Use and When We May Disclose Your Personal Information
  1. Internal Use of Personal Information. We may use your Personal Information for internal purposes, such as to provide you with the Sites and Services (including the delivery of our products to you), to improve the Sites and Services, to notify you of new products or Services, and to otherwise communicate with you about our business.

  2. Disclosure of Personal Information. Except as otherwise explained in this Privacy Policy, we will not disclose your Personal Information to third parties, other than our third-party service providers, without your consent.

  3. Disclosure and Use of other Information. We may deidentify, anonymize or aggregate your Personal Information or Log Data. We may use such information, that does not include your Personal Information, for any purpose and may share such information with third parties.

  4. Service Providers. From time to time, we may establish a business relationship with other businesses whom we believe trustworthy and who have confirmed that their privacy practices are consistent with ours. For example, we may contract with third-party service providers to provide certain services, such as hosting and maintenance, data storage and management, marketing and promotions, and delivery. We only provide our third-party service providers with the information necessary for them to perform these services on our behalf. Each third-party service provider must agree to use reasonable security procedures and practices, appropriate to the nature of the information involved, in order to protect your Personal Information from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. Third-party service providers are prohibited from using your Personal Information other than as specified by us.

  5. Online Tracking. We may allow third-party companies to serve our ads to you after you visit the Sites or use the Services, and these third parties may collect information about your online activities over time and across different Internet websites or online services. These companies may use non-personally identifiable information (e.g., clickstream information, web browser type, time and date, subject of advertisements clicked or scrolled over) in order to provide advertisements about our products and services likely to be of interest to you. These companies typically use a cookie to collect this information. Our systems do not recognize browser “Do Not Track” signals. However, several of our third-party service providers who utilize these cookies on our Sites enable you to opt out of targeted advertising practices. We do not control third parties’ collection or use of your information to serve interest-based advertising. However these third parties may provide you with ways to choose not to have your information collected or used in this way. You can opt-out of receiving interest-based ads from third parties who are members of the Network Advertising Initiative (NAI) or who follow the Digital Advertising Alliance’s Self-Regulatory Principles for Online Behavioral Advertising by visiting www.networkadvertising.org or www.aboutads.info/choices/.

  6. Other Transfers in Connection with Corporate Transactions. We may share your Personal Information with our affiliated companies. If we merge with, are acquired by, or are sold to a third party, or in the event of a transfer of some or all of our assets, we may disclose or transfer your Personal Information in connection with such transaction.

  7. Compliance with Law. We cooperate with government and law enforcement officials and private parties to enforce and comply with applicable law. We may disclose your Personal Information and any other information about you to government or law enforcement officials or private parties if, in our discretion, we believe it is necessary or appropriate in order to respond to legal requests (including court orders and subpoenas), to protect the safety, property or rights of our or our affiliates’ business or of any third party, to prevent or stop any illegal, unethical or legally actionable activity, or to comply with the law.

C. Security

The security of your Personal Information is important to us. However, please remember that no method of transmission over the Internet or means of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

D. Links

The Sites and Services may contain links to other websites or services or allow others to send you such links. A link to a third-party website or service does not mean that we endorse it or that we are affiliated with it. We do not exercise control over third-party websites or services. You access such third-party websites, services and content at your own risk. You should always read the privacy policy of a third-party website or service before providing any information to that website or service.

E. Children's Privacy

The Sites and Services are intended for users who are 18 years old or older. We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from persons under the age of 18. If we become aware that we have inadvertently received Personal Information from a person under the age of 18, we will delete such information from our records. F. Processing in the United States

Please be advised that our servers and systems are located in the United States, such that we process and store all information in the United States. If you are located outside of the United States, your Personal Information and communications will be transferred to and maintained on servers and databases located outside of your country. The laws in the United States may not be as protective of your privacy as those in your location. By using the Sites or Services, you are agreeing that the collection, processing and use of your Personal Information and communications will be governed by the applicable laws in the United States.

G. Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy is effective as of the date written above and will remain in effect except with respect to any changes to its provisions in the future, which will be in effect immediately after being posted on this page. We reserve the right to update or change this Privacy Policy at any time. You should check this Privacy Policy periodically. Your continued use of the Sites or Services after we post any modifications to this Privacy Policy will constitute your acknowledgement of the modifications and your consent to abide and be bound by this Privacy Policy as modified.
